Ghana based Gambian actress Princess Shyngle has been honored with Fashion Icon Award at the maiden edition of Gambia Fashion Awards held over the weekend at Paradise Suites Hotel in The Gambia.
According to the founder of the award scheme, Yusuf Thullah, the event was designed to recognize individuals and stakeholders for their immense contribution to the country’s fashion industry and to promote and support fashion and entertainment activities in The Gambia and beyond.
During the award ceremony, over 30 brands and personalities were awarded during the event including the actress Princess Shyngle.
The night also witness performances from the sibling stars Kerr Gi Family and a hilarious comedy from Bright Star Entertainment.
