However, a new twist to the development has it that Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr. aka Shatta Wale has rubbished the kind gesture by his colleague artiste. According to Shatta Wale, what Stonebwoy did on his 30th birthday was needless because he intended to get the public talking – Thus hypocrisy at the zenith level!
To clarify things, Shatta Wale is convinced beyond doubt that born Livingstone Etse Satekla commonly known as Stonebwoy doesn’t share his riches with the poor people around him. But then, because he desires to get public appeal, he donated to the accident ward of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital over the expense of the poor people in his camp.
In Shatta Wale’s post on social media specifically Facebook, he wrote:
“They pretend they have money infront of their friends but anytime these friends ask them to do something for them.They will say chale me my money Ade put into sick people dem a inside for hospitals….and will continue to say things like and I quote “Me anobe like some people weh if dem get money dem go buy cars dash cars Etc…oh that’s good !!”
He added that “but my nigga you deh lie you kno get Foko….False pretender Stop pretending..it’s Friday”.
Regardless, Stonebwoy’s gesture on his 30th birthday happens to be an initiative of his own Foundation called The Livingstone Foundation, a non-governmental organizations which aims at giving back to society and creating equal opportunities for kids and adults from deprived backgrounds.
