The much awaited album, ‘Highlife Konnect‘ of Ghanaian contemporary highlife musician, Ronald Kwaku Dei Appiah better known by his stage name Bisa Kdei, was officially launched on Saturday night April 21, 2018, at Level 8 Lounge in Accra.

The fifteen-track studio album with the title, “Highlife Konnect” will be the third music album by Bisa Kdei, after a successful release of “Breakthrough” last two years and “Thanksgiving” which was his first album.

The album was produced by “A” list local and international music producers like; himself, Juls, Guilty Beatz, Mix-master Garzy and TK, has the following songs “Asew, Bie Wueni, Hammer, Fakye, Aban, Domi Bi, Life, Feeling, Pocket” just to mention a few, which he (Bisa Kdei) wrote all the songs on the album.

The album features intercontinental acts like Mic Flammes (Togo), Stanley Enow (Cameroon), Oc Osilliation (Zambia), Reekado Banks, Mayorkun and Patoranking (Nigeria) as well as our very own Sarkodie, Yaa Yaa, Awaboah and Kumi Guitar.

According to Bisa, why he chose the title “Highlife Konnect” because his main focus is to link the higlife genre into the international market, also to bridge very gap between Ghana and other parts of Africa and to edge up his fan base universally then again crossing beyond the African continent. So don’t be surprise he had acts from various part of Africa featured on the album.

According to Black Legendary Music frontman Bisa Kdei, after launching the album in Ghana, he will further launch it in other countries including the United States of America, London, Cote d’Voire, etc.

He again thanked the people of Ghana, his fans and the press for accepting his style and type of music he does and also supporting him in his career. He promised to groove his fans with good highlife everyday.

The event witnessed scores of industry players, musicians and renowned bloggers, who came in their numbers to support the 2016 VGMA Highlife Artistes of the Year.
