He calls himself a "the humble dove" and sings sweet songs of melodies to inspire the youth and new generation, not to mention his plans to sign new artist unto 3Tymz Vibration Recordz being the CEO of the label.<br />

So his latest interview, with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM #Ekwansodwoodwoo, was on-brand for the musician.<br />
<br />
He didn't only touch on the <a href="https://www.nanakesse.com/2019/12/rootikal-swagger-calls-on-govt-to.html?m=0">legalization of marijuana</a>, but also said he's the biggest artist in Achimota now and no doubt about that. <br />
<br />
"I'm undoubtedly, biggest artist currently in Achimota."<br />
<br />
"It's just not even a question anymore." He said.<br />
<br />
According to the "Me Nko Me Da" singer, he's the only and first ever Achimota artist to host one of the biggest outdoor concerts in Accra dubbed "Achimota To The World" concert which gained a nomination at Ghana Event Awards 2019.<br />
<br />
"I'm not bragging but I'm the only and first ever artist in Achimota to host an outdoor concert thrice and even got nomination at Ghana Event Awards." He said.<br />
<br />
"My team and I started with a name "Achimota Stands For Peace" before the 2016 general election and subsequently changed to "Achimota To The Word" concert...we again held Achimota Sallah Fest this year." He added.<br />
<br />
Other than music, one of his business ventures are farming and clothing line, he told the host.<br />
<br />
Rootikal Swagger is billed to perform at the second edition of Okay FM Accra Concert 2019 this December 26 at Achimota Retail Centre/Mall in Accra.<br />

Marijuana (wee) is one of the drugs criminalized in many countries globally, despite it not being much more dangerous than either cigarettes or alcohol, both of which remain legal.<br />
<br />
The advocacy or debate for the legalization of marijuana continues to linger around the necks of Ghanaians and just when the matter seemed to have gone down, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, Afropop/Dancehall artist Rootikal Swagger speaking on Okay FM #Ekwansodwodwo added his voice to the controversial issue of legalizing the use of marijuana in the country, calling on government to reform our drug laws, saying the punishment people receive for simply smoking marijuana is harsh.<br />
<br />
The "Ebefa" hitmaker, again, called government to put up good measures or structures to make the use of the substance legal, to help boost the country's economy and avoid people abusing it.<br />
<br />
“All we are saying is that, government must stop criminalizing marijuana, but rather legalize it and put up good structures or measures to avoid people from abusing it....if that's the reason for not legalizing" he said.<br />
<br />
"With good structures, marijuana can change the country's economy” he added.<br />
<br />
Even prominent people such as late Kofi Annan, as well as the former Executive Secretary of the Narcotics Control Board, Mr Yaw Akrasi Sarpong, made similar calls, though theirs were geared towards the decriminalization of its use.<br />
<br />
Renowned Journalist  Kwesi Pratt, radio host, Blakk Rasta, Abeiku Santana (OK FM), Mr Kwame Sefa Kayi of Peace FM, A Plus, are among the people advocating for the legalization of marijuana, though they all want the government to put up measures in regulating it after the legalization.<br />

Other winners were Hardey Salim Diedong, Minalyn Touch, Peace Hyde, Ameyaw TV, Akosua Dentaa Amoateng, Royal Lizzy, Mrs Patricia Obo-Nai, Tracy Boakye and many more. Again, honoured over 30 Media Personalities and Executive Directors.<br />
<br />
From MCs to artiste performances, award presentation dramas and so on, it could only be rated as a well-organised show.<br />
<br />
The event as usual, began with the Red Carpet hosted by Sherrif which saw Celebrities showing off what they wore and talking about what they expect for the night. <br />
<br />
The show began with AJ Poundz as the main host.<br />
<br />
The night saw outstanding performances from Armageddon and Aking Dick.<br />
<br />

He concluded by saying that housing had become a necessity due to the densely populated manner of our capital towns and the high cost of renting a house thus, all efforts should be made to reduce the stress associated with housing.<br />

The awards biggest award, Overall Best Video, was won by Kirani AYAT's video for the song 'Guda' directed by David Nicol-Sey (North Productions).<br />

Other winners include Stonebwoy, R2Bees, Okyeame Kwame, Wendy Shay, Quamina MP, Nana Boroo, among others. Two of the night's big winners, reggae-dancehall star Shatta Wale and rapper Sarkodie picked up 5 and 3 awards respectively.<br />
<br />
Nigerian singer and songwriter Burna Boy announced as the winner of the ‘Best African Act Video’ award, he joins an exclusive list of Nigerian artistes who have won the much-coveted African Act honour.<br />

The beautiful and colour ceremony witnessed outstanding performances from Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, R2Bees, Medikal, Kwaw Kese, Darkovibes, Lord Paper, RJZ, Quamina MP, among others.<br />
<br />
The maiden edition of the 4Syte TV Music Video Awards was organised in 2009 to commend creativity in the music video business. Since then the awards ceremony has become an important date in the Ghana music industry and calendar. This year, curvaceous Joselyn Dumas and stand-up comedian DKB hosted the ceremony.<br />

Shatta Wale couldn't control his feeling for his 'brother' and colleague performance, out of love, he stood up and had Stonebwoy walk directly towards him for a hug.<br />

They shared the beauty of unity together in front of close to thousands of music lovers, dignitaries and artistes  present after the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019 scuffle.<br />

The personalities include business mogul and philanthropist Jack Ma, and former Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon.<br />

Jack Ma is the co-founder and former executive chairman of Alibaba Group, a multinational technology conglomerate.<br />

The personalities who arrived in Ghana on Friday November 15, 2019 paid separate calls on the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo – Addo at the Jubilee house.<br />
<br />
According to information gathered, these Chinese personalities are  in Ghana to participate in the maiden edition of the Africa Netpreneurship Summit, which will be held at the Accra International Conference, on Saturday (Today), November 16, 2019.<br />
