Mr. Patrick Abankwa Baah, a renowned chartered banker and Lead Facilitator on Patrick TV GH, a rising YouTube financial channel has challenged young people to make the purchase of a land their prime target when they start working before planning towards their marriage.<br />

He made this call on his weekly financial teaching episode on his channel Patrick TV GH on 22nd November, 2019. He featured a business manager Mr. Ebenezer Essumang on the show to discuss how one could plan towards his dream house.<br />

The savings tutor posited that even though this position may not be applicable to everyone, it is a test approach towards financial independence in the marriage. The analyzed two main avenues in Ghana i.e Mortgage and building it by oneself.<br />
<br />
Mr. Abankwa Baah further argued that the purchase of the land may not be for inhabiting purposes only. One could buy a land and later sell it at great profit!<br />
<br />
According to Mr. Baah, financial education goes beyond keeping money in one’s account. It is about creating value with your income for yourself and the next generation. It includes everything related to your comfort yesterday, today and tomorrow.<br />
<br />
He concluded by saying that housing had become a necessity due to the densely populated manner of our capital towns and the high cost of renting a house thus, all efforts should be made to reduce the stress associated with housing.<br />

Versatile musician, FimFim has released a brand new dance video this week to promote his fresh banging single- Koloma. This comes nearly a month after the Afrobeats singer / rapper launched another exciting #kolomachallenge that immediately caught fire on social media. <br />

The awards biggest award, Overall Best Video, was won by Kirani AYAT's video for the song 'Guda' directed by David Nicol-Sey (North Productions).<br />

Other winners include Stonebwoy, R2Bees, Okyeame Kwame, Wendy Shay, Quamina MP, Nana Boroo, among others. Two of the night's big winners, reggae-dancehall star Shatta Wale and rapper Sarkodie picked up 5 and 3 awards respectively.<br />

Nigerian singer and songwriter Burna Boy announced as the winner of the ‘Best African Act Video’ award, he joins an exclusive list of Nigerian artistes who have won the much-coveted African Act honour.<br />

Justice Emile Short, was a guest on one of Ghana's longest running, developmental Talk Shows, Time With David. As has become the norm, the episode hosted by veteran broadcaster David Ampofo, will is likely to spark a lot of conversation and headlines. Here are some key statements from the conversation:<br />

<b>Time With David: Top 10 Talking Points from Emile Short interview</b><br />

1. As the conversation began, David Ampofo quizzed Mr. Short on the report by the Commission of enquiry which he headed following the violent incidents during the by-election in Ayawaso West Wogon. Mr.  Short stated that protocol does not permit him to discuss the report as its findings could still be  appealed in a Court. When asked if he would ever be able to speak on the issue, Mr.  Short said "I'm not sure I'd be able to talk about it ever.  Because of my role"<br />

2. "We're losing about Two to Three Billion Dollars yearly, to corruption" . "People have to understand how much were losing to corruption"<br />
<br />
3. Mr. Short asserted during the interview that, "The Police CID is not an independent body". This he explained is due to the presidential influence over the office of IGP, amongst other factors. After all, he is an appointee of the President which should not be the case.<br />
<br />
4.Speaking on the Special Prosecutor and his office, Mr. Short made statements such as, "I was very pleased when Martin Amidu was appointed.  He has made a lot of effort in trying to fight corruption" He also confessed, "I know what Martin Amidu has in court.  The public has been inpatient and want to see high profile cases.  His track record shows that he has the courage to address corruption"<br />

5. He also asked for a more transparent Council of State. "Nobody knows what advice the council of state gives to the president and if he accepts it".<br />
<br />
6. Mr. Short stated that in practice, we do not implement the death penalty.  He advocated for it to be removed, because it does not act as a deterrent and there could be miscarriage of justice.<br />
<br />
7. Emile Short declared that he is not happy with governance in Ghana at the moment.  He stated that he does not think we are doing well, in the fight against corruption. He bemoaned the lack of commitment needed to achieve success.  <br />
<br />
8. In 1995, we set the precedence of investigating high level officers on allegations of corruption.<br />
<br />
9. Speaking about huge campaign expenditure, as a  cause of corruption, Mr. Short argued that politicians who spend exuberantly to be elected, "recover expenses by awarding contracts which are often overpriced".<br />
<br />
10. He called for a situation where MPs who are appointed as ministers are made to give up their parliamentary seat to ensure proper oversight of the executive.<br />

He had his primary education at the St. Margaret Aidoo Memorial Academy, Junior High Education at Lydians International School whereby he then furthered his education to the IPMC institution.<br />

He had the passion for music at a very tender age as he came from a home blessed with music from Capleton, Culture Combolus, Lucky Dube, Buju Banton and the Legendary Bob Marley which had a significant impact into his love got dancehall and Reggae music.<br />
<br />
During his school days, he performed and thrilled his colleagues at funfairs, kiddafest, and a whole couple of music-related competitions.<br />

He then signed him unto his record label whereby they work together for a while.<br />

In 2016, Lord Fargo officially began his solo career and branding himself whereby he recorded a couple of single and did some projects.<br />
<br />
He is currently working on his first-ever studio album which will be officially out next year as the titled has been revealed as "Ugly Truth Mixtape Album" under his own record label "WellConnected Music".<br />

Promising to go through thick and thin just to put smiles on her face, Kweku Afro proves love is beyond finances, but also accepts the emotional sacrifices that he is about to take.<br />

“Monalisa came to me when I heard rumors about my band manager getting married in December, 2018. And as a lead vocalist for the band, I decided to write a song for him and perform with the band. Knowing that day would be special for him and since I had nothing big to give, Monalisa was my solution. My band manager's fiancé is called Mona; and she was the inspiration behind this new song“, expresses Kweku Afro.<br />

‘Monalisa’ is released under his new label, Twist Entertainment Legacy. Widely tipped as the next big thing in Ghanaian pop music, Kweiku Afro is set to take over the music space in Africa, starting from Ghana.<br />
