INVESTING IN GHANA'S ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY: CEO of Sultan Drinks shares his inspiration to help young musicians
Ghana US-based business man, Hakeem Ellis has shared his vision for young musicians and performers in the entertainment industry in Ghana. Opening up on "Aggressive Interview" with Kweku Manu, he said he came into Showbiz with keen interest to help young talented artistes meet the expectations of their careers. He also stressed the need for such musicians to be hardworking.
Hakeem Ellis is a renowned health practitioner in US with number of businesses across the continent including his record label in Ghana called, Hakell Entertainment.
"I've signed a young hardworking musician called Chikel Baibe. She has a new song out with Teephlow. We're also working with another solid artiste called FimFim who is ready to release "Koloma" in the coming days. " — Hakeem said.
Over the years, Hakeem and his company have invested enormously in Ghana's entertainment industry by sponsoring events through Sultan Drinks and partnering artistes to release their songs and videos.
Hakell Entertainment is currently building an ultramodern recording studio in Ghana. A powerful sound production facility that will have cinematography sessions and post production units. "We plan to open top class studio for existing and new artists and to attract foreign musicians as well" - he said
