CONFIRMED: Abeiku Santana named as official MC of 2019 ‘Edemfest’

The 2019 Ghana Event Award ‘Event MC of the Year’ winner and broadcast journalist Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana widely known as Abeiku Santana aka #MrTourism has been confirmed to be the official MC for the upcoming second edition of a music and cultural festival dubbed ‘Edemfest’, which is being organised by celebrated and multiple awards winning Ghanaian hiplife artiste Edem, who is the headline artiste.

This year’s edition is scheduled to take place at the Aborigines Beach Resort, Keta in the Volta Region on Friday, November 1, 2019.

The celebrated broadcaster is very prepared to show fans and patrons some extraordinary antiques of his emceeing skills on that night.

Abeiku Santana on the hand has lead major events such as pageant shows, award events, concert, funeral, wedding and more to mark good success in Ghana and beyond.

His unique style of emceeing won him ‘Event MC of the Year’ at the 2019 Ghana Event Awards.

This year’s event, according to the organisers, will bring together individuals and lovers of dancehall, hip-hop, Afro-pop, hiplife music fans who will witness performances from cultural groups and some of Ghana’s finest award-winning artistes like Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Obrafour, MzVee, Tinny, Yaa Pono and a host of others.

The music and cultural festival is aimed as a way of giving back to society and engaging communities as part of his corporate social responsibility, also to celebrate Ghanaian music, promote tourism and also to celebrate the Hogbetsotso Festival in the Volta Region.
