Xylo nominated for 2018 Ghana Music Awards South Africa

The organisers of Ghana Music Awards South Africa, Media Africa Studios has announced and released the full list of nominees yesterday August, 16, 2018, for the maiden edition of the award scheme.

Ghanaian promising act and Zylofon Arts Club’s budding artist, Xylo was nominated for the 'Promising Artist of the Year.

Xylo is an Afro Pop, R&B singer/songwriter, and the first artiste brought forth from the Zylofon Arts Club, and his musical career has kicked off on a good note.

The "Bumper" hitmaker will be competing with Koo Kyei, Maccasion, Kay 9ice, Efe Keyz, Wakili, Dem Tinz, Dhat Gyal, Amerado, Citizen Welkins, Kasiebo, Adi Govnor, Brayn the Mensah, Iconzy Fiack and Dzidu for the award this year.

Ghana Music Awards South Africa is going to be the major yearly music festival of the Ghanaian community based in South Africa. The aim is to celebrate and award individuals and corporate excellence within the entertainment industry amongst the Ghanaian community. It seals it with the importation of our music culture from Ghana to South Africa.

The event comes off on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Pretoria, South-Africa.
