Kobby Kyei to join FilthBusters Ghana to help tackle sanitation menace in Ghana

A few weeks after starting a sanitation campaign of his own, Blogger Kobby Kyei has been extended the noble arm of partnership to lace hands with FilthBusters Ghana to help tackle the social canker that has engulfed the whole nation.

The partnership is to see the two parties embark on sanitation projects and activities including education and sensitization of the masses especially the youth on the need to prioritize good sanitation while also embarking on clean up exercises.

Programmes to be organized will include summits and workshops on sanitation, field trips to recycling and waste management organizations, pageants in collaboration with Miss Health Ghana as well as quiz competitions among second cycle institutions.

FilthBusters Ghana is a nongovernmental organization with focus on the environment and sanitation to create enabling platforms that will help cultivate in the citizenry, especially the youth, the culture and attitude of keeping the environment clean and tidy.

It has been in existence since 2017 and has over the years carried out several sanitation programs aimed at educating the general public on sanitation related issues, sanitation and environmental education programme in a number of senior high schools to create awareness in the students among others and raise a new generation of leaders that are sanitation conscious.

FilthBusters Ghana aims to use this project as a social development tool to award the most outstanding youth(s) who will sign up to this initiative to motivate them to make sanitation awareness an everyday thing for them. Awards would be in the form of scholarships, start-up capitals, monthly salaries, accommodation and other amazing incentives.

Filthbustersgh seeks to become a global center of excellence in promoting and championing sanitation and environmental cleanliness in Ghana and beyond. Collective impact is not about creating a whole new initiative but rather connecting and strengthening existing efforts and filling gabs.
